More Than a Game

This project is a short sports documentary created specifically for social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. It centres on capturing personal training sessions and individual stories, exploring how everyday sporting routines can be transformed into engaging, shareable digital content. Using a simple but effective narrative structure of preparation, action, and reflection, the video combines cinematic visuals with direct‑to‑camera segments to create a clear and relatable story.

The project demonstrates how strong visual storytelling techniques, sharp editing, and thoughtful sound design can elevate ordinary moments and make them appealing to a fast‑paced digital audience. Designed for viewers aged 16–25 with an interest in sport and social media, the content reflects both the viewing habits and aesthetic expectations of younger online audiences.

Filmed using a DSLR camera, tripod, and wireless microphone, the project also highlights the importance of production quality in creating professional‑looking social media content. Overall, it showcases a balance of technical skill and creative storytelling while maintaining an authentic and approachable tone.
